Client Portal
Give every client a branded, dedicated space to stay up to date with their project.
What is the Client Portal?
The Client Portal is a web page unique to each client where they can:
- View their session details and status
- Sign contracts
- Pay invoices
- Download delivered files
- View notes or updates from you
Clients don't need an Onie Studio account — they access their portal via a secure link sent by email.
Accessing the Client Portal
You can share the client portal link in two ways:
- From the Client page — Click Share Portal Link and copy the URL
- Automatically — Include the
{{portal_link}}variable in any email template
Portal Access Modes
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Authenticated | Client logs in with their email and password |
| Token-based | Client uses a one-time secure token from their email link — no login required |
Token-based access is enabled by default and works seamlessly in email clients, iframes, and embedded views.
What Clients See
The portal surfaces only the information relevant to that client:
- Active sessions — Dates, locations, status
- Documents — Contracts awaiting signature or already signed
- Invoices — Outstanding balances and payment history
- Delivered files — Download links (via File Delivery)
Branding the Portal
The portal automatically uses your business name and logo from your Business Profile. Additional branding options (custom colors, domain) are coming in a future release.
